The world is in for a long night at the villas.
Airbnb has released a new listing of its properties in Greece.
It has a maximum of 2,400 bedrooms, 1,800 baths, 1 million square feet of ground floor retail space and a spa.
In fact, the listings for this apartment range from the cheapest to the most expensive.
Airbnb said it has been building the villa in Greece for five years, but it has only just gotten started.
Its owners say the building will eventually have 2,000 residents, but Airbnb has only given a tentative number.
“We don’t have any plans yet to open it,” Airbnb spokesperson Emily Pomerantz said of the apartment in Greece’s northern Piraeus district.
“It’s still in the planning phase.”
Airbnb is still selling the villamates in Greece, but not for long.
The company has already sold the 1,000-square-foot villa it built in Athens for $9.5 million, and is working on a second apartment in the city of Athens, which has the most Airbnb listings.
Airbnb will have to pay taxes on those properties to the Greek government.
Greece has an ambitious Airbnb policy, requiring new apartments to be at least 25 percent affordable, and requiring them to be owned by Greeks.
Airbnb hasn’t yet released the exact number of villas it has opened in Greece but said it expects to open up to 100 new listings this year.
That’s not all.
The listing of the villau is just one example of how Airbnb is changing the way it views housing in Greece: In May, the company announced it was launching an app called “Greece” that will allow people to rent out their own apartment in their hometown.
That app is now available in 10 countries.
“There is a need for a reliable, affordable, accessible and social way to stay in Greece,” the company wrote in a press release.
“The idea of creating a platform that connects people to one another across borders and geographic borders and the world is a natural next step.”
Airbnb declined to comment on whether it plans to build a second Greek apartment.
Pomerantantz said that in order to build new villas, Airbnb has to pay property taxes.
“That’s the responsibility of the local authorities and we are not aware of any specific planning for that,” she said.
The housing shortage in Greece has been a major issue in recent years.
The country has a population of just over 5 million people, making it the poorest country in the European Union.
The problem is particularly acute in Athens, where the population has increased by more than 40 percent in the last decade, according to the International Monetary Fund.
Airbnb also recently announced it would build another 300 units in Athens in 2018, and to offer them to Greek tourists.
“Our mission is to build the next great Airbnb,” Pomeranz said.
