If you were hoping for a trip to the Westgate resort in Florida, you might be disappointed.
The resort in La Sereina, Florida, doesn’t have a lake house and it’s located in a remote area.
However, Westgate has the best of both worlds, according to Lonely Planet.
“Westgate is a beautiful, beautiful place, but there’s something special about the view from your balcony overlooking the water,” Lonely Planet’s Tom Reimers told ABC News.
“The view from the top of the hotel overlooks the entire resort, from the beach to the pool, to the main dining area, and to the lake.”
The resort is situated at the northern end of the Florida Keys, in a state park known as Lake Okeechobee.
The area is home to some of the most stunning, and unique, waterfalls in the world.
It’s also a popular destination for boating.
According to Lonely Packet, a travel company, “Westside, Florida has over 4,500 acres of lakefront property and is home only to 1,400 acres of land.
Its beachfront has become one of the best areas for boaters, and Westside boasts over 1,000 miles of water taxi rides, more than 20 marinas, a large pool, and two golf courses.”
You can visit Westgate for $400-$800 a night, or you can book an Airbnb vacation package.

Lonely Planet also said Westgate was ranked among the best hotels in the U.S. for the second year in a row.
“It’s an excellent place to be in the springtime,” Reimings said.
“You’re surrounded by beautiful green water and lakes.
And, there’s a great view of the lake and of the ocean.”
Westgate offers a $150 breakfast special at the hotel and $120 package to get you to the resort, Reimars said.
